Well, they have two options, actually. One goes for GBP19.99 per month. That has 250 minutes free Wifi access, 20GB monthly download and 2mbps upload speed. The other goes for 5pounds more. No connection fee, 10Mbps upload rates and no cap on downloads. It also has unlimited Wifi access.

I do hope Virgin drops its prices too!

It's not just the prices. If I have a choice, I would go for BT for broadband and landline. Virgin has been getting too many negative reviews of late!

I agree stay away from Virgin. BT has better and more responsive customer service. It is easier to get them on the line than those at Virgin.

Sorry, but I will disagree with you. I used to be with BT and I've had too many problems too often. I get to call them and they are not very helpful. Most of the time, you just get passed around. Too often, they don't resolve anything. I think I can't recommend BT because of that!

Depends on where you live really. Virgin is very good in cable areas, reliable connection and service. But BT is good for ADSL services.

I wish there was some way to try both services before committing to that crazy contract period. I mean I don't want to be stuck with BT for one and a half years if they are not providing good service!

Well, Virgin Media is certainly not going to take BT's encroachment into their broadband territory lying down. The company launched a PR campaign that challenges BT's claims that it has faster broadband. The ad features Danielle Lloyd.
