Virgin Media & Universal Pictures Launch Digital TV Film Service Called PictureBox Virgin Media and Universal Pictures are to launch a digital TV service which will allow it to show some of the freat films such as king kong. The service is set to cost an additional £5 a month and gives access to 28 films at one time. The service which will be named PictureBox will include 7 new releases every month exclusing new releases. Films set to be released on the service include Hot Fuzz, The Bourne Ultimatum and children of Men. PictureBox will become available in July and will offer a selection of films, some of which will be in High Definition. This is the first time that HD content has become available on the picturebox service. |
